One question!

When I play ports I always had trouble booming...
I would like get 10 vils and gather food biuld like 7 more on wood then biuld house keep sending peeps to food and wood...Around 3.00-5.00 I would advance with around 30-50 vils depending (team game with some one booming soldiers...) I would get tc and all but I never knew how to split up my vils

Note 30 vils is I advance at 3.00 and around 50 at 5.00... But where how do I split them up...

Or should I get like 20 vils advance sooner and then just keep sending them all places?

So your getting 30 villies before aging up? Cant happen at 3 mins imo unless theres something ur not telling me.

However, the best way to Boom with Ports is do a straight ff, then get schooners and villie spam from the three TCs, u should have about 200 pop of villies by 20 mins if u do it right. Ports are best on water maps. Then just race for imperial to get factories and imperial upgrades.

matt is right, aging with 30 vils at this time is impossible.

but don't get a 200 pop civilian as you won't have spare space for troops.

i also think that shipping 1000 food as you hit fortress might help, as you'll have food to support all 3 TCs getting vils about as soon as you hit fortress.

Lol, of course you delete the fishing boats Otherwise, at least half would become redundant. Also, if u have 40 villies pop by Age 3 at 9 mins (which is perfectly possible for a boat boom), Refrigeration > 1000 Fod unless u havent got any stockpiled (which us should with 4o villies by the time u age on food.)
