6 Minute Eco Rush- Created by Zetox- Tad Patch 1.01

here is my own private dutch strat. it works pretty good for me. it took me like 100 games to make it as it is know. i have killed all kind of civs with it. from pr lvl betwwen 18 and 30. (i was master serg when i startet with my strat) played me up to a 1st leut with this strat. it get boring so have change civ a few times since. so i think its time other players can use my strat know.
plz dont flame it because i know it works. ore it works for me. and sry for the gramma, my english sucs. i took long time write and i hope i got the whole strat on paper Wink but if i have forgotten some thing ore u have qustion plz make me a note. on this forum ore in agecommunity were u also can find the strat.

I CALL IT: 6 MIN ECO RUSH. the idea is to take ur oppenements eco down in the same time u build ur own. the strat need more skills then others because u have to focus on very good micro(hit and run) and in the same time u build up ur eco. u need to harras all the time with ur skirms to make this strat work well. but when u can manage ur hit and run and get some vils and ruin his eco it works very nice. it takes a lot praktice to get it work good and to find the balance between when u want build more skirms ore a vill more in the start were ur eco is bad. a wrong choise can cost u the game. but i normal pick skirms first and build only vils if i have left over gold. but after the first bank arrive u are able to spam both on the same time. here is my BO.

all vils on food. 1st card 3 vils. age with 400 wood. while aging keep 3-4 vils on food. rest go on gold. send 2 vils forward to build FB. from the 400 wood. u build barrack + house + marked keep 4 vils on food and rest on gold. 2nd shipment is 8 pikes. and u wanna build 10 skirms. buy 100 wood on the marked. to build one more house. evry time u need house buy it with gold. u dont wanna waste time gather wood in the start. because u get gold faster then wood. after u have build ur 10 skirms attack. keep making skirms u should be able to contiue get 4-5 skirms out evry time. go after his vils. and only his vills. keep ur pikes in the background so u dont lose them to tc fire and ranged inf. dont seige with them. u only have them with u to save ur ass if he send cav. its better u lose 3 skirms then 1 pike there will go long before u can affort to build new pikes. so guard them well. and if he call minutemen retreat and came back 20 sec later. just keep hit and run evry time he need to send his vils in his tc he lose vill secs and cant gather for more army. kill his army u should be able to do that pretty easy.(u should try keep out mass him) 3 rd card is bank wagon. when ur bank is buld start making vils again and send one more on gold rest on food.. 4rd card is normal 700 wood to get more banks and a barrack ore stable. on this point u should be the upper part in the game and are ready to spam pikes and finish him out. if u not got surprized from start. if he suprize u on some way in the start. like if he turtle with towers ore make walls ore just totally out micro u. u should retreat and make a semi ff and get canons + ruyter shipments.

only use the 3 hussar shipment if u really feel u cant keep him back with out that shipment. and remember 10 skirms kill a vill in one shot. so try keep 10+ skirms in ur atack all the time and remember evry time there is a good strat people will make a counter. try hide ur fb so he get surprised when u attack. i normal be in my enamy base 5.50 min with 10 skirms and 8 pikes in the back ground. u only wanna start seige if u can see u can finish him. else just hit and run.

My card order.

1. 3 vils

2. 8 pikes

3. bankwagon

4. 700 wood

5. 700 food ore 600 wood.

6. 700 food ore 600 wood.

on this time u should have won ore on ur way to fortreess. maybe fortress after card 5.

7. 2 canons if he have lot of ranged inf. ore ruyter if he push with cav.

the rest u have to find out by ur self.



this strat works good for me. dont try vs russia, port and native who can age faster then u. else i have used it with good luck vs all other civs. GL HF.

Looks good to me Zetox. Its useful to know that 10 skirms can kill a single villager in one volley, so its a good raiding strat. Place tjhe skirms between the TC and the villagers to get twice as many kills thanks to the range. Also, any anti cav the opponent's gotten to prevent raiding will be useless against the skirms and will most likely get owned.

However, if you have the opponent on his knees with this and you want to stay in colonial, mass both skirms and hussars, or ff and get cannons/ruyters too.

That my good friend is a great strat I am going to start using dutch again just like in the good ole TWC days.

Hey, make sure to read the other Dutch strats, Dutch need to be versatile to win more than others thanks to an inconventional military lineup.

u always wanna go forress if u have the oppenent on his knee but u cant finish him. but if u have him on his knee u really dont need hussars only to take vils he flee with if cant shoot them all;) and i normaly never fight with hussar in age 2 if it is 1v1 i only use them in age 2 if it is teamplay. because i have the 3rd best ranged units in the game so i can always out micro other ranged units. only yumi and lbow stay a chance vs skirms. but that early in the game they dont have a chance to mass yumi ore LB if u rush correct. and if they succes to out mass. u need like 10 hussar to kill a mass. and i rather spend 120* 10 + 80* 10 =1200 food and 800 gold on going in age 3(i know i need 200 more gold). and ship 2 falconets. i think canons have way better chance vs mass ranget units. we all have tryed to send like 15 cav against a massed army of yumi ore lb and see our cav get ownd.(its SAD but its a FAQ that masses lb and yumi own cav) maybe i am wrong with my opinion about cav Wink but still this is how it work for me. its a eco rush. that means its ideal to go fortress with this strat if u feel for it. some times i stop build skrims after 15. and then hurry in fortress. good vs brit and japan if u cant hold them down.

and one thing i forgot to say i maked this strat for 1v1. its my favorite gamestyle. i am not good in team playes Wink so i dont know about how good this strat would be in a 2v2 ore 3v3. that more MATTS area... GL HF u all. hopw this strat can make u so far that i t make me. maybe longer. hehe.

Actually, the only civ I can do in team games is Germans, the others have no hope for me Razz

Also, ur probably right about going fortress instead, but cav isnt just for raids. Its a great battle micro tool, when managed right it can intimidate the opponent and force him to make more HI than needed, which ull most likely pwn with skirms. 8 hussars including the shipment is enough to make him start making HI again, in most cases, and then u just pwn them.
